A digital attic full of good stuff

Old technology deserves better than a landfill.

Obsolete Pete is a growing collection of vintage telephones, televisions, radios, toys, and oddball electronics from the days when buttons clicked, bells actually rang, and nothing needed an app.

Meet the curator

Who is Obsolete Pete?

Pete is the imaginary patron saint of obsolete gadgets — the guy who sees a yellowed rotary phone at a yard sale and thinks, “Well, somebody has to save it.”

This site is part collection, part museum, and part excuse to photograph old stuff that was engineered before “software update required” became a sentence.
